Leanne Gammon was nominated by a student.

"Coach Gammon was one of the only coaches I have ever played for that has poured into me and believed in me since I first started playing," said the student. "Not only is she a good coach, but she also cares about me as a person and checks up on me during the off-season. She makes sure I'm putting work in and checks up on my life outside of school, as well as my grades. She is a tough coach, but without a doubt, she's one of the most caring ones you will ever play for. Coach Gammon was the only reason I even made a team in sixth grade and has watched me grow all the way into my sophomore year. I love having her as a coach."
