Coach Wynn is an astronomical teacher and coach. He always stays on top of his students and pushes them to be their best. Coach Wynn is an inspiration in and out of the classroom. Coach Wynn is a leader of integrity and always stands up for what he believes is right. He always encourages students to become their ultimate selves.
"Of the two years I've been at Temple High School, Coach Wynn has inspired me in ways I can't even explain," said the student. "I plan to use everything he has taught me, even after graduation."
Not only does Coach Wynn change lives for the better in the school system, but he also does so outside of school. Outside of school, Coach Wynn fills his business/brand Instagram account with inspirational lessons and quotes for his fellow students and peers. "Work2Wynn" motivates kids to strive for greatness because he knows greatness is something you earn. With his daily quotes and brand slogan, "You don't eat, you don't win," he inspires students to show dedication in any situation.
"Coach Wynn has changed my life in the past two years, and I know he will continue to change the lives of other students," said the student.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Actions speaks louder than words!" Well, that's Coach Wynn! He not only speaks the words of life into our kids, but he shows it through his lifestyle. We are blessed to have him as a teacher/coach, but more so as a friend, a mentor, and a role model for our son. I know he has reached my son with his speeches and his coaching, many times. I feel this is the right person to be honored. Thanks Coach Wynn for all you do in the life of these kids, community, and as a friend.
DeVante is one of those few people in this world you could 100% count on to do his job above and beyond while also making a massive impact on the group or community he is placed into. This man is Driven by self motivation and hard work. He always wants the best outcome for his people so they can become successful in which ever way they decide
Devante Wynn is a blessing to all that he comes into contact with. He is a very special educator that takes time to build relationships with his students to get to know each of them, and then motivate them to achieve small and big goals in ways that are meaningful to each of them. He encourages students to shine in their own light and promotes their talents and interests. He is certainly a life changer for each of his students and colleagues.
Devante Wynn is a winner. He works very hard at his goals. This extraordinary young man always encourages others of all ages. Devante is a coach, teacher, book publisher, and a believer. He’s definitely a life changer to anyone he comes in contact with and it’s no surprise that he was nominated.

Coach Wynn goes above and beyond for his students in and outside the classroom. I know that he cares about his students based on how he engages with them on a daily. This is a great honor that none other than Coach Wynn is deserving to have.
Over the years i have seen coach Wynn not only transform himself into a achiever, but his students as well.
The youth doesn’t need to see perfection. They need to see real people set real goals and go through the real process of obtaining it! Mr. Wynn has given his students & school the opportunity to see what it looks like when you believe in a purpose bigger than you & the steps necessary to bring your vision to fruition. That experience is invaluable. It’s impact is unmeasurable. Much the impact Mr. Wynn has had on the Temple community.
In the one year I have known Coach Wynn I had instant respect for this young man; Dedicated, Loyal, Inspirational teacher and coach He seeks advice from his elder coaches constantly : in this day and age you do not see that very often He just accepted a Head Coach position for next school year He will be a success in the future in both teaching and coaching

DeVante Wynn has been a leader for as long as I have known him (8 years). He has always ensured to check in and motivate not only myself but our friend group. Here recently, DeVante has been giving me advice on continuing my teaching career. His dedication and determination pushes me to become better everyday. I have the privilege of saying “I knew you Wynn!” I have know Devante since his freshman year in College. As a student affairs professional I knew this young man had the mindset and drive to succeed in this world. It brings me great joy to see him touching the lives of students in an impactful yet original way. Through his voice, his mind and actions he has only begun to this journey to not only inspiring those inside the classroom but outside as well.
So incredibly honored to know him and I can only hope that one day my son can be taught and coached by the great D. Wynn!
