Lisa Phillips was nominated by her husband, Ronnie Phillips.
Principal Phillips has been at the helm of Cass Technical High School, a nationally-recognized, college-preparatory school of excellence, since 2010. Her accomplishments are copious, and her success is phenomenal. Under her leadership, Cass Tech was named an International Baccalaureate School, the only high school in Detroit Public Schools and Wayne County to receive this honor. With the largest student body in the city (over 2,300 pupils), Cass Tech has a college entrance rate of 98%. Last year, the senior class earned over $47 million in scholarships.
Principal Phillips’ goal has been to create and expand invaluable programs/partnerships that will enrich the lives of Cass Tech students. Some of those programs include:
#1) The STEM Education Project, which promotes science, technology, engineering and math opportunities;
#2) The Underwater Robotics Projects, where students build their own robots and compete in local competitions;
#3) The CT Greenhouse, which creates extended learning classrooms in which students learn to grow healthy vegetables through hydroponic practices;
#4) The Wayne County Dual Enrollment Program, which allows students to take college classes for four years, resulting in an Associate’s Degree upon graduation from Cass Tech;
#5) The University of Michigan’s “Doctors of Tomorrow” Program where medical students mentor Cass Tech students in all aspects of medicine; and,
#6) The Ilitch Holdings, UAW-Ford, and Chrysler-Walbridge summer internships, which have afforded over 200 students opportunities to work with business executives in the fields of accounting, communications, entertainment, retail, automotive design, engineering, construction, and more.
The plethora of partnerships, programs, internships and scholarships that Principal Lisa Phillips has secured during her tenure is evidence that she always puts students and education first.
During her principalship, Cass Tech has excelled in the fields of athletics and the arts. The Cass Tech Football team has won two-state championships. Cass has the most scholar-athletes of any other high school in the region and is one of the most sought-after schools for National Signing Day. Cass’ Basketball, Baseball, Swimming, Tennis, Golf, Volleyball, and Cross-Country teams have all won city and state championships and continue to be a force to be reckoned with. With a new state-of-the-art recording studio built by Adidas and CT alum Big Sean, students from the music and drama departments can explore their talents and receive training from top music producers and talent scouts.
Principal Phillips was named 2014 National Principal of the Year by the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) and received the 2014 Michigan Chronicle “Women of Excellence” Award. In February 2016, the Michigan Lottery honored Mrs. Phillips with a radio and television tribute distinguishing her for Excellence in Education and as an Outstanding Principal and Educator. Through her hard work and willingness to lead, Principal Phillips has truly continued the legacy of Cass Tech as a jewel and a beacon of light for the city and the school system. Principal Phillips is truly an exceptional leader whose vision, influence and zeal have made a tremendous mark on the landscape of education.
Additionally, she created a project for seniors who would not have funds to get to college or be able to afford essentials for their college dorms. She provides students with an application that states the college that they will attend, and each student must list five things they will need to start their college career. Principal Phillips finds donors who will adopt a student and make their wish come true.
Last year, she was successful with getting college needs such as microwaves, sheets, towels, refrigerators, etc for 185 seniors. She is working on securing gifts for many more seniors this year. In addition, Mrs. Phillips and her family adopted 3 seniors to assist.
Principal Phillips has been happily married to Ronnie Phillips for 32 years, and is the mother of Ronnie and Jasmine Phillips. She is a graduate of Mumford High School, Alabama State University and Wayne State University. She has also studied Educational Reform at Harvard University and Oxford University.

Week in review: A man, a plan, a budget — and a look at private donations to public schools
She is a great advocate for students. She is always looking to bring new programs and always looking for ways to assist students fulfill their dreams.
Mrs. Phillips is definitely a Life Changer and advocate of the 1500 plus students attending Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. She is always working very hard for all her students, acquiring millions of dollars in scholarship funds so they're able to continue their education and pursue their dreams after high school. I support Mrs. Lisa Phillips in her nomination for Life Changer of the Year.
I could never begin to express my gratitude for Mrs. Lisa Phillips. I remember all the conversation we would have about life and keeping me on track when I was at a stage in my life when I was going through a difficult time and attempting to turn into someone I really was not. She was my inspiration to become the woman I am today. I love her and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
Mrs. Lisa Phillips started out as a blessing in 1986 as my English teacher (coincidentally, her husband was my counselor). She was not only a teacher but became more like a 'school mom,' always making sure I was on my A-game and that if I had any problems at all within the school, she steered me in the right direction for resolution especially to be sure that I secured a guaranteed four-year scholarship as a pioneer student of a new program. Not only did she have a mother-like relationship with me, but she truly cared about the well-being and success of many of her students, making all of us feel special in our individual ways. Mrs. Phillips lit a fire of success in me that helped to mold and shape my college and professional career. When I think of all the teachers I've had, no one can top the level of commitment, motivation, discipline and perfect example of a top-notch, keeping-it-real goal-digger like Mrs. P.
To have a son that is now a 10th grader at Cass with Mrs. Phillips as the principal is a blessing. She TRULY cares about the success, safety and well-being of every last one of her 2000+ students. I've seen the battles that Mrs. Phillips has had to fight as both the incoming and present principal, and I've watched her get through each of them with humility, grace, ambition and the willpower to do what's best for the school and her students. She continues to be a positive force to be reckoned with educational community, the City of Detroit and the U.S. as she continues to display the beauty of an educator that has and will continue to be a true champion of and cheerleader for those that have been blessed by her. For as long as she has and will continue to phenomenally change the lives of those with whom she crosses paths, she is very capable and extremely deserving of Life Changer of the Year. Love you, Mrs. P. ??
Mrs. Phillips is one of the caring people I know she was my principal for four years but our relationship quickly turn into a wonderful friendship she always cared about my well being in school and made sure I had all of the necessary tools I needed to thrive in both high school and college and I am now successful student at southern New Hampshire University studying Healthcare Administration she is a great role model because she truly cares
CT Principal Lisa Phillips a very effective leader of our school and a warm person, that generates a positive outreach that encourages you to meaningfully interact with her.
Issues of improvement ,opurtunities for student advancement are cardinal to this lady's repertoire. As VP of the Cass Tech Alumni Association, consultations with Principal Phillips have always resulted in the right action to be taken,,wether we both started with different approach to resolution to the issue. She always smiles at you, even when she's eating my green and white Altoids--
Ms. Lisa Phillips had been the most caring principal yet. i truly do appreciate her for taking care of her student and keeping the school together. when she’s principal i feel as if i’m in good hands.
Mrs.Phillips very compassionate with a kind heart. She's there whenever any Cass student needs her no matter the circumstances.
Whenever there is a student in need, Mrs.Phillips is there to help. Last year and the year before, she created an open house for the seniors who could afford to have one themselves and got sponsors to help those students financially. It takes a giving person to go out of their way like that. She is always there for emotional support as well!
Mrs Lisa Phillips is very deserving of this award. She works so hard to change the lives of all her students.

I am a student at Cass Tech and Mrs.Phillips is by far one of the best principals I've ever had. She's very understanding and helpful when it comes to many different things. I couldn't imagine anyone else running this school and it staying as successful as it is now.
Lisa Philips is a good principle and is very interactive with the students .
I am currently a senior at Cass Tech and during my time here Ms.Phillips has done a great job fulfilling her role as principal. She tries her best to make sure we have what we need and even awards us for the great things that we do. I am truly honored to have her as principal and will miss her when I graduate.
Lisa is the best principal in dps. She does goes hard for her cass tech students and does everything for us in the best of her ability . She has never let us down not once.
Principal Lisa Phillips a phenomenal educator to her core. I met Mrs. Phillips 2 years ago. I transferred my daughter from Cranbrook to Cass Tech. in her junior year. After years of private education, my husband and I decided to try Detroit public! What better place no other than Cass Tech. Let's be clear, we were very nervous about the transition. But then, we met Lisa Phillips! After our 1st meeting, we knew our daughter was in good hands. We both had a sigh of relief after our experience with Lisa Phillips and staff. It is every parents desire to have a sense of, security, comfort and confidence when we leave our children in the hands of others. Lisa Phillips not only set the bar high for students, she lead by example by setting the bar high for her staff and herself. I see her out in the community building relationships with community organizations to ensure and expose her students with incredible opportunities for internship in various careers. She secures funders/donors which support her graduates with summer employment. Benefits that will sustain students with their basic needs during their 1st year of college. Lisa Phillips thinks outside the box when comes to college preparation and sustainable! This is a quality that I've NEVER seen in my 26 years as an educator myself and 18 years as a parent who has educator her children in some of the BEST EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. Lisa Phillips work very hard to maintain and sustain the "2nd to NONE" model at CASS Technical High School! Thank you Phillips for being an example for all educators. We Love you and wish you all the best!!!
Lisa Phillips believes in the young people of Detroit. She had continued, and even improved upon, Cass Tech's legacy of excellence, and her work is building a better future for our city and our world. She deserves this award!

No matter how busy or hectic her day is she always take time to listen and do her best in meeting the needs of others (SELFLESS BEING). As a former student (D.S.A) of Mrs.Phillips and now as a parent of a freshman in high school I can rest assured that my son is in the best place as well as the best hands with Mrs.Phillips leadership at Cass, My Son/ Our YOUTH Are DESTINED FOR CONTINUED GREATNESS AND Success. Thank You Mrs.Phillips for being you.
Mrs.Phillips is truly a Blessing to DPS/ The City of Detroit. She was my assistant principal when I attented D.S.A Detroit School of the Fine & Performing Arts. Mrs.Phillips Love,Dedication to the children and the city of Detroit is truly a BLESSING in itself. It was her that tutored students in English and didn't have a problem filling in as a teacher/substitute teacher when needed. This woman is tbe definition of being not only a humble individual but a meek one as well. Her Style & Grace in itself is impeccable which automatically strikes your interest so when she opens her mouth to speak and you hear the knowledge pouring from her you cant help but listen and say WOW. As a 9th grader I looked at her and said when I grow up I want to be like her an educated young woman who when I open my mouth people listen. Mrs.Phillips speaks to the masses (OUR YOUTH, OUR FUTURE)
Thank you guys for recognizing a True Leader in our COMMUNITY/ CITY
Principal Phillips is a caring, heart felt, awesome person. Since I have met her in 2012 she has demonstrated the character of a caring genuine person. She goes above and beyond for her staff and most importantly her students. Even after I left the leadership of Principal Phillips to move on to a new school district. Anytime I called she answered, when my mother died she and her administration team were at the funeral, as I stated even though I was working in another district. If that doesn't speak volume of what kind of person she is I don't know what will.
Mrs Lisa Phillips is without question, an ideal choice for this award. I, along with a slew of other young adults have been a product of her tutelage. She is a very personable educator, principal and trailblazer in that she seeks and finds the potential in each and every student under her guise and molds it in the way a student is most receptive, until they shine. I, being a former high student of hers, have seen her do it countless times. Even when you leave school and go off to do other things in the world, her same warmth and guidance is still readily available as if you are one of her kids for life! A very good intentioned woman who will give you things straight and strive to help students minimalize error and maximize their potential. We all thank Mrs Phillips for the way she chose and continues to run schools under her leadership with innovative and unorthodox methods that have proven time and time again to bring out the best in her students and show unprecedented improvement overall! We salute her and 100% agree that a life changer is what she was put here to be!
Mrs. Phillips is such an awesome role model for many of her former and present students, her family, friends, colleagues, etc. She has changed many lives including my life. She has taught me many things in life and one of the most important things she has taught me was to never give up! Because of her compassion, respect, and leadership, she absolutely deserves the LifeChanger of the year!
I met Mrs. Lisa Phillips for the first time 26 years ago, and I have admired her ever since.
I know first hand the dedication she has for her students, parents and staff. I was once her student, once a parent of a CT student, and I am currently member of her teaching staff.
Mrs. Phillips makes every effort to ensure her students achieve academic excellence. She works tirelessly to secure scholarships for her students and partners with various organizations in order to help students obtain and maintain employment status and job security.
Mrs. Lisa Phillips has always inspired hope and ignited imagination.
Her warmth, understanding, love, and dedication are vital elements that help shape character and affect eternity.
Lisa Phillips is the true definition of a Life Changer. She is a leader with vision but It is her daily actions that help to ensure that greatness occurs. Lisa does not just spew rhetoric or ramble off data, she really cares about others and it is evident by her speech, mannerisms and action plans. She has the ability to make everyone around her better. As an educator, she wants and expects the best from her students. As an administrator, she wants and expects the best from her staff. As a mentor, she wants and expects the best from her mentees. Principal Phillips does more than most people know to ensure that students at Cass Technical High School are able to receive a plethora of opportunities despite their surroundings and socio-economic status. To know her is to love her. I am beyond ecstatic that she has been a part of my life for 25 years and I pray that we are always connected. My life is certainly better with Lisa Phillips.
OUR #1 REASON FOR THE SELECTION OF LISA PHILLIPS IS KNOWING THAT SHE GENUINELY CARES FOR US. SHE TALKS THE TALK AND WALKS THE WALK, PROVING THAT ACTIONS REALLY DO SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. SHE INSPIRES THAT SAME SPIRIT INTO THE VERY SOULS OF THE CASS TECH STAFF AND STUDENTS TO ENSURE THAT CASS TECH REMAINS 2ND TO NONE! WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A PHENOMENAL LEADER AND FRIEND! Mrs. Lisa Phillips is an extraordinary educator who is passionate about education and all of her students. She is dedicated to empowering, exposing and giving every opportunity to her students in order for them to be successful. Mrs Phillips was my 9th grade English teacher at Cass Technical High School and prepared her classes to become the very best. Later I worked under her leadership as one of her Vice Principals for five years at Cass Tech. She was an amazing mentor and supervisor and trained me on how to effectively and efficiently lead a high performing program at one of the largest high schools in the state of Michigan. Mrs. Phillips has made a tremendous positive impact in so many students' lives; and continues to strive for excellence in education. She is deserving of such a distinguished award, and she is truly a life changer.
Mrs. Lisa Phillips is a dynamic and amazing educator. She was my 9th grade English teacher when I attended Cass Technical High School. Her love, passion, and knowledge for the field of education and her dedication to her students is evident to all who knows her. She continues to strive to give her students every opportunity imaginable. Not only is she a wonderful teacher, she is an extradorinary Principal. I worked under Mrs. Phillips as one of her Vice Principals for five years where she mentored, trained and taught me how to run a high performing, large high school effectively and efficiently. I am extremely proud to have had Mrs. Phillips as a teacher and been a part of her administration team. She is deserving of this distinguished award.
As a retired principal I am in awe of Lisa Phillips. She is always calm and in control of her very large responsibilities at Cass Tecn. She has been an inspiration to us in the Link Inc. as we minister some of her male students. She is very professional and respected. Kudos to you Lisa
To Whom It May Concern:
Mrs. Lisa Phillips was my 10th Grade ELA Teacher (1995) at Cass Tech HS. She introduced her students to a diversity of great literature such as: Black Boy, Great Expectations, Hamlet, Jane Eyre, etc. At that time, she was over the CT Pep Club and other school clubs. It seemed like she ALWAYS made time for us, but was still active in the lives of her own children. She always supported our endeavors inside and outside of school.
Fast-forward to more recent years, Mrs. Phillips has served as an Educator & School Leader in several capacities. She has won numerous awards, attended international professional developments/ seminars, and gained countless opportunities for SO MANY of her students just to name a few. With all her years in Public/ Urban Education, she has remained accessible, consistent, humble, and spiritual!
Over 20years later, Lisa Phillips is still an instrumental part of my life. My parents and I genuinely appreciate ALL that she does within the realm of Education. She is a unique force of dedication, empathy, professionalism, and support. I try to thank her EVERY time I see her because as a fellow Educator, I fully empathize and relate to her devotion & her journey. I LOVE Mrs. Lisa Phillips & there isn't anything that anyone can do about it!
Sincerely,

I have know Lisa Phillips for over 25 years and I've had the unique experience of not only knowing her as a principal, but a teacher, because she was my freshman English teacher in 1985. To that end, her passion and enthusiasm for inspiring children to learn and be their best selves has not waivered from the 1st time I met her. She constantly inspires so many and her entire life's work has changed so many young people's lives. She takes the success of her students personally and her commitment to their education is second to none! There is no one like her!!
In addition to the myriad of accomplishments in education and at Cass Tech, Mrs Phillips maintains an approachable accessible demeanor that allows her students, teachers and staff to easily interact with her for the students benefit. She daily considers the welfare of those around her and effortlessly solves seeming daunting problems effortlessly.
Mrs Phillips accomplishes all these things with an open mind and heart. She is truly an I educational treasure!
Mrs Phillips came to Oak Park High School in 2007. She always set a goal for her student's... She wanted us to be great. Although we had some tough days, she always remained strong and held her students down. She truly believed in all of us which made me a believer.. that I could do anything and be anything I wanted to be. Always striving to make a difference and opening amazing opportunities. I, Thea Goodwin c/o 2010 alumni nominate Mrs. Lisa Phillips as LifeChanger of the Year. Love you Mrs Phillips!! "010" Put your???? in the sky
Mrs. Lisa Phillips is definitely a Life Changer and advocate of the 1500 plus students attending Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. She is always working very hard for her students, acquiring millions of dollars in scholarship funds so they're able to continue their education and pursue their dreams after high school. I would like to nominate Mrs. Lisa Phillips for Life Changer of the Year.
Mrs. Phillips has been a teacher, motivator, listener and mentor since the day I met her. There are very few people in this world who can be so many things to so many people. She is arguably one of the most gracious, persistent, and passionate people I have ever come in contact with. Her ability to lead and her passion for education are nothing short of amazing. Her presence alone encourages those around her and I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award!
Mrs. Phillips was my principal at Detroit Technology High School. It was because of her leadership and the way she cares for her students that we excelled like we did.
Mrs. Phillips is not only a school leader, but an ambassador for education in the City of Detroit. I have known her to show an unyielding drive to do whatever it is necessary to make over 2,400 scholars, at any one time, feel as though they are at home, rather than at a large school. Her influence is not spot limited to Cass Tech, the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, or even nationally. Her influence is global. She has brought hundreds of millions in scholarships to her students by building and galvanizing bonds with Fortune 500 companies and the community stakeholders. She has also championed the successful placement and implementation of the International Baccalaureate Programme to Cass, making it the first school in Detroit to hold such an endorsement. I could go on about her impact as an educator and community leader, but that would be a large volume which would be literally hundreds of pages. Let's just say that Principal Phillips not only leads, but continually redefines what a school and educational leader is.
Mrs.phillips is a phenomenal woman, their is Soooo Many Words to describe the awesome person she is, She was My Principal at Oak Park High before she went to become principal at cass ,She is wonderful at what she does she has touch soo many people lives with her wonderful and kind hearted spirit her goal was to make sure everyone succeeded at what they do/did.I know her personally and she has been nothing but nice to me and my family.... Mrs. Phillips is a life changer without a doubt. Her leadership, class, respect, and honor make her the best of the best. I am a CT alumni 2017 and through my four years at Cass she has done nothing but make the school number one and second to none. Her dedication to the students and her staff never fails to amaze me
Because you lead with your heart and truly care about your students and teachers -That is why you are a life changer! You always try to help students succeed by giving them as many resources as possible! Thank you for believing in us and furture students! Whether you were our principal, teacher, or mentor-you always imparted long lasting knowledge on us-Thank you !
Mrs Phillips, is most definitely a life-changer. I met her on Detroits northeast side at Detroit technology high school in 2002. Growing up in a community where college degrees and further education passed 12 th grade seemed impossible. The compassion, love, and never ending enthusiasm that she created in that school was simply amazing. I never thought about going to college or even obtaining a degree. I always thought that I would just follow in our family tradition and just find a job and make ends meet anyway possible. Because of Mrs. Phillips and her loving and encouraging spirit I was compelled to do better for myself. She often had long talks with us and started in 9th grade revamping our mind frames. By the time 12th grade came my classmates and are were prepared to further our education we wanted to be better than where we came from and 11 years later I still owe it all to her for helping me change our state of mind of just following the norom to being great and excelling behind imagination! I'm so grateful that we crossed paths and learned many life lessons.
Mrs. Phillips is such an inspiration to many. She truly is a life changer, she is a saving grace for the children in Detroit. She has changed the lives of thousands of students over her 30+ years in education. The things she has accomplished and the things she is currently accomplishing for her students have been remarkable. The opportunities she has afforded her students have set them up to be very successful and powerful adults in this world. Her students have been able to travel the world, have been able to work with some of the biggest CEO's in this country. She has put programs in her schools that have allowed high school students to graduate high school with their associate degree as well (for free). She has had a hand in molding the children of tomorrow and today and the future. She gives her all in the name of helping our children. She truly has dedicated her life to education and her students. So much more that needs to be said. My life is better because of Lisa Phillips.
Lisa Phillips is most definitely a life changer. She not only goes out of her way for her current students but she never fails her former students. For over thirty years I've personally witnessed her operate with open doors and arms to her students and now her staff and parents. She never hesitates to give support whether it's a phone call, proofing a resume, advice or just a hug she's always willing and ready to encourage anyone in need. Lisa Phillips is an outstanding leader and most definitely a life changer in our community.
As my former English teacher, mentor and administrator, Lisa Phillips is the epitome of a consummate educator. She has inspired students to strive for greatness, while helping teachers and staff to reach their full capacity. She is notably a Lifechanger for students, staff, family & community. It has been an honor to work under her leadership!
Ms.Phillips is not just my principal she is an amazing mentor. She has taught me how to become a woman and how to carry myself. She has laughed and cracked jokes with me. She also has took me to etiquettes class with her. The most important thing she does is support me. Whenever I have a death in my family she lets me sit in her office and cry and talks to us and just makes me feel so much better. I love that she is not a strict or more principal she makes everyone feel loved and like their apart of her family.
It takes a special kind of person to mold, mentor and nurture leaders. Cass Tech has been fortunate to have Lisa Phillips as the principal to take on this challenge with strength, grace and passion. Under her leadership Cass Tech continues to produce young adults who are well on their way to making a difference in our world.
It is our pleasure to wholeheartedly support Lisa Phillips' nomination for the Lifechanger of the Year Award.

Mrs. Phillips is one of the most energetic, capable and caring principals in the world. She sees issues with her students and immediately takes action to insure they have nothing in the way of academic achievement. Her vision and commitment have made the difference for generations of students. Some are fortunate enough to have had her as a teacher and now are privileged to have her as their children's principal. She helps create scholars and good citizens. The number of lives she has changed is legion.
It's an honor to nominate this lady of leadership, service and class. She is the most caring woman on the planet. She is worthy of this award. Mrs. Phillips has encouraged me to achieve my highest potential. With someone like her having your back is a definite sign you will succeed.
It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Principal Phillips with the Life Changer Award. Many are called but there are only a few who actually accept the challenge of what is oftentimes viewed as a thankless job, an educational leader. So it's time to say thank you for what you do, constantly fighting for our children doing all that's possible to provide a more fertile ground for our children to continue to grow and blossom in this garden of life.
Mrs. Phillips is the epitome of a great leader! I have admired her commitment to education for 30+ years. I met her while a student at Cass Tech and she made such an impression on my life that I have followed her professionally since. She was "called to teach" and has not stopped encouraging and mentoring those who cross her path. She continues to think of innovative ways to keep students interested in learning in the 21st century and builds partnerships to support it. Lisa has accolades that can cover several walls, but that is not what guides her. It's her heart and the love she carries for education! She is definitely a "game-changer" and I am blessed to have been a player in her life.
Mrs. Phillips is the best! She personifies what a educator should be, dedicated, caring, truthful, sincere, humble, enthusiastic, and much, much more. I have never seen a teacher/principal that wanted more for her students. We need more teachers like Mrs Phillips, those that are willing to change the world through everyone that they touch. May God continue to work in you and through you Mrs. Phillips!
Mrs. Phillips was my 9th and 10th grade English teacher. I loved her then, I love her now. More than deserving.
Mrs. Phillips dedication to the students of Cass Technical High School extend far beyond her principalship. She has been a teacher and mentor to countless students. I met Mrs. Phillip as a student as she was the sponsor of the Cass Pep Club. Her guidance, nurturing spirit and level of patience helped to shape a large group of young ladies. She touched my life in a positive way and I'm blessed to know her.
Principal Phillips is a one of a kind leader who makes a difference not only in her students lives but also staff!! As my mentor, Mrs.Phillips, has taught me the skills to be an educational leader in the classroom and outside the classroom. From supporting programs for students to professional development for staff Principal Phillips believes in me because of the skills she has taught me!!! She has forever changed my life as an educator, leader and woman!!!! Thank you PHILLIPS!!!
Principal Phillips you exemplify what it means to be a dedicated educator! You go above and beyond for all of your students. You always take time to listen and do your best to meet every need many times neglecting your own! I speak as a former student of yours and now as a parent who now has a graduate and one student left under your leadership at Cass, there is only one and will only be one Lisa Phillips!

You have created a familial work environment. As I watch you lead, I see you celebrating everyone around you and finding ways to allow those around you to shine. You are a leader that believes in collective ability, fairness, and most importantly, support. You have done great work at CT and I'm proud to call you my friend.
