LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Brooke Martin was nominated by a colleague, Ramona Roberts.

Ms. Martin wears many hats at Jenks High School. She is the Speech Pathologist, HS SPED Dept head, on several committees, and a friend to many. She also does private speech sessions outside of school.

She has the biggest heart and strongest shoulder. She coordinates the paraprofessional's schedules and fills in, rotates, and shuffles schedules daily to fill absent positions. She attends the most challenging IEP meetings, keeps a level head, and shares great ideas for the team to consider for the best of each student. 

She is married to history teacher Kyle Martin, and they have a daughter and a son. She is very active in her children's lives. Her family loves her. The students love her, and her coworkers love her! 

She is motivated to be the best worker that she can be, and it shows in everything that she does!!
