LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Jennifer Westlake was nominated by a family member Melody Henderson.

Ms. Westlake has changed the lives of the students she serves. She takes the time to bond with her students and learn about them personally. Ms. Westlake is always positive. She forms relationships with the children's families to help the children in any way she can. She is dedicated and sincerely cares about what she does.

She has only been teaching for five years and has already been chosen as Teacher of the Year for her school. She is also her team leader, in charge of the yearbook, coaches the basketball team, and organizes other sports for the school.  She has completed her Master's degree during this time and is married with four children, all under the age of 12. 

"If you ask her co-workers, you will find that she is respected and depended on by most," said Henderson. "She is the most deserving person I know for this award."
