Amy was my student at Hazel Park High School. I met her in 1995 and I knew right away that she was special. When she became a teacher I placed my students with her. She was a wonderful inspirational, kind and creative teacher.Every person that I placed with her absolutely benefited from her expertise. I am so proud of her. She definitely deserves this prestigious award.
