Lisa eats, sleeps, and breathes math education. Reading about new approaches and new educational research. Participating in regional and national mathematics learning communities and sharing all she can with others. I know her students are getting the most passionate math person there is - someone who always wants to learn and share.
I never had Lisa as a math teacher growing up but I know that she is a great person. I became friends with her daughter a while ago and I love coming over because she makes it feel like my own home. She is so patient, kind, caring, and extremely funny.
Lisa is a tremendous asset to our schools and a valued member of the community. She is always striving to do more for the students of our town.. We are lucky to have someone so committed to supporting kids not only in their academic pursuits but also in the arts. I didn't nominate Lisa but I wish I had, she is very deserving!
Hard worker, well deserve
I work with Ms. Beauchemin, aka Ms. Math, and she always comes to school with such a positive attitude and it’s contagious. She’s so great with kids and staff alike. She’s always spreading kindness and positivity and you can tell she really loves what she does. I wish there were more people like her in the world.
She makes math understandable and is willing to take the time to help people who need the math help.
