Ms. Kim, a middle school math teacher at the Kennedy and Kiley Middle Schools in Springfield, MA, was recently named a 2023 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year Finalist. Ms. Kim's work in-and-out of the classroom has yielded excellent student MCAS scores throughout her career. Her principal has even moved her from one school to another in order to provide struggling students access to the most effective instruction possible.
