LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Ignacio Martinez was nominated by a colleague, Dana Nguyen.

Mr. Martinez, also known as "Nacho," demonstrates teamwork in the workplace.

"I would like you to consider 'Nacho' for the LifeChanger of the Year Award," said Nguyen. "He is a prime example of a team player and is always willing to help with projects."

Nacho always volunteers to do additional tasks on campus and assists those who need help, like offering his expertise to multiple departments. Despite having a lot of work, Nacho constantly asks how others are doing and finds out how he can make their job easier.

He has excellent communication and teamwork skills that make the workplace positive. He remains positive even during situations that are less than ideal or fair. He is always encouraging, thoughtful, and selfless, all of a true leader's great qualities. He delegates with patience and kindness and jumps in to help even if it is not his job. He never says no when asked for help and is an incredible problem solver. He goes above and beyond on the job daily.

"I feel very honored and blessed to work with him," said Nguyen. "For these reasons and more, Ignacio deserves to be honored with this award and beyond."
