Dr. Gillespie is an all-around fantastic person! She has changed to better her department, and many say she is an amazing boss. Dr. Gillespie shows empathy and compassion to all as she still stands firm in her beliefs. If anyone needs her help, she is always there to help. As a social worker, she ensures her students have what they need. She started a program through her social work department called TASSEL. It has grown and helps any family in need if they need school uniforms, school supplies, hygiene, or even food and things for the house. It's a nonprofit through the school board in Polk County.
Dr. Gillespie even helps the families with tools and shoes for work. You will see her show up and get the hard work done with her employees. This program she started helps any Polk County teacher, staff member, or student in need. It even helps school stores for the students! Dr. Gillespie is always listening and giving 100%.
