Mr. Benifield loves kids and his job. He talks to young kids about the importance of being a positive person with an understanding of intangibles (i.e., respect, discipline, and trust). His mentorship and guidance help young kids process information and connect with their teachers and friends.

"I'm so proud of the man he has become and love to watch his interactions with the kids," said Tarshia Holliday, his spouse. "He played Santa for the school, and I think he loved it just as much as the kids. Even though he is the lead custodian, he still makes time to mentor and talk to the kids. Carlos Benifield is definitely a LifeChanger!"

Coach Carlos is a great role model, mentor and leader to not just the youth but our entire community. He has had a major influence on my life personally, by providing me guidance and advice on how to be an ideal man, father and coach. He is dedicated to his community and a man that naturally impacts the lives of those he comes into contact with.
