Norine Seth, aka "Ms. Rene," was nominated by an anonymous colleague.

"Every child needs a champion, and Ms. Rene is our champion for all of our scholars at JES," said the colleague. "Every student knows that Ms. Rene is an adult who will not give up on them. She has the power to make every student feel important. She inspires hope in the children, ignites their imaginations, and instills a love of learning. She believes in each and every child. She is gifted with the ability to help any child succeed, no matter the obstacles that may come their way. She has a way of making their accomplishments, big or small, seem like huge victories. They want to come into school every day and do their best because they know Ms. Rene is always cheering them on. Her smile, laughter, and energy is contagious in the building to not just the children, but the staff. JES is beyond blessed to have her."
