Ms. Megan, as most know her, has a heart for her students. Every day Ms. Megan shows up with a smile and kind words, not only for the students in her class, but for every child she sees. Ms. Megan is present with each child and gives each one the time they need. She always makes each child or adult feel like they are the most important person in the room. 

Ms. Megan is always happy and exhibits kindness. As cliche as it may sound, she is always positive in her classroom and finds the good in every situation. No matter what happens at school, she strives to genuinely be herself and show genuine kindness in each situation she's involved in. 

Ms. Megan has the knowledge to lead in an administrative role but chooses to teach the children. They not only learn academics from her, but also how to treat others, handle different situations, and look at each situation as a positive learning tool for the future. She has a keen sense of how each child learns and uses each of their individual strengths to encourage them daily. 

"Megan is one of the most caring and genuine individuals I know," said the parent. "Both of my boys were privileged to have her as their preschool teacher before she started teaching kindergarten. Although they are older now, they still interact with her daily at school. She always has a hug for them with a warm, caring smile. She has different learning games/toys in her classroom, and each morning, there is always a ground of elementary students in her room playing before school starts. Her classroom is so relaxing and welcoming. Students feel at home with her. 
Megan is constantly striving to do what she can to better herself for the lives of the students she impacts daily."
 
"Megan is a dear friend of mine, but so much more for each child she comes into contact with," said the parent. "She is so genuine and caring, and it shows in her everyday actions and how much each child looks forward to seeing her. Megan changes the lives of each child she has been in contact with and is definitely a LifeChanger. Our children are blessed to have someone of her caliber in their daily lives."

"She was my own daughter's former teacher. She made me feel at ease and kept me in the loop about how she was doing in class," said Baker. "She made my daughter feel special, loved, wanted, and important. In a world where everyone is always negative and bringing you down, you will never hear a word spoken in her classroom that is anything but uplifting and positive. She is so deserving of this award. She is one of the best teachers I know, and I am so lucky to have had her for my daughter and to work with her in the best classroom."
