Malama cares deeply about all students at Pearl City High School. She is always thinking of what is best for them and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. She is a leader who leads by example and is always kind to everyone. I am fortunate to have her as a colleague and counseling partner in IBAD academy and am grateful for her willingness to always help out her colleagues whenever needed. Pearl City High School wouldn't be the same without her.
Malama has impacted our school and students greatly. She is authentic and cares deeply for our students, and they know it and feel it. She is calm and always has a solution she is willing to offer when students come to her for help, as well as for teachers who come to her for help and advice with students. Malama is intuitive and knows the perfect balance between supporting students and holding them accountable so that they grow and evolve. She is extremely reliable and I can always count on her to come through for our kids, but also for myself. Thank you for everything!!
Malama Ada is ?? genuine and honest—she has such quiet strength that you always trust that she has your best interests at heart. She is our academy counselor and I know she has my back and our students back always! I am so grateful for her as a co-worker but more importantly as a dear friend ??
Malama is honest and compassionate with the students that she works with. She works with students to develop the attitudes, attributes, and skills necessary to realize their potential. Students show a great deal towards Malama and take to heart what she imparts to them.
Malama is not only a caring counselor, as is evident by all the other feedback shared, she's also a great leader. Ms. Ada is the type of leader that doesn't tell others what to do, but instead people follow her lead and encouragement because of her quiet wisdom and endurance. We are super lucky to have her on our Charger team!
Malama is a wonderful counselor and colleague. I'm blessed to work alongside her. She is always supportive and willing to help. Her guidance has helped me grow as in educator. She genuinely cares for others and takes on challenges to improve our school. Her positive attitude and joyful spirit fill every room she enters.
