Angela Schnur was nominated by her colleague, Michele Harold.

"Angie is one of the most compassionate, caring, and hardworking individuals I know," said Harold. "She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and full of resources. She goes above and beyond to make sure her students and staff have what they need to get through the day. No matter how busy she is, she makes the time to help in any situation where she is needed. I have seen her at school after hours, making phone calls and connecting with parents and outside agencies. Angie works with outside agencies in the community to make sure that there are extra school supplies on hand for students who can't afford to have things. At Christmas time, she works with these agencies to make sure every student receives something from Santa if the family is unable to have gifts for their children. We are very fortunate to have such a caring and loving person at McQuistion, and I feel very fortunate and lucky to work with her."
