Carmel Middelbos was nominated by an anonymous student.
"My nominee is a woman that I will remember for the rest of my life; she has had such a great impact on me and the people around her," said the student. "I couldn't thank her enough for how much she has done for me."
Ms. Middelbos pushes people to be the best version of themselves. She's a very supportive person; she's always willing to listen to whoever needs an ear.
"No matter how bad of a day I'm having, she lights up my day," said the student.
While dealing with her own personal issues, she continues to help her students and colleagues. She puts others before herself, and it continuously shows.
"I would not be able to survive high school without her, and I am so lucky to have someone to look up to," said the student. She helped me create a safe space for other students and has continued to uphold that from the moment I stepped into that school. I will forever and always remember the name Carmel Middelbos."
