Deneatrice Harrison was nominated by her colleague, SanChea Simmons-Harris.
"Deneatrice Harrison has proven her ability to make a beneficial difference, not only in the students of Evelyn C. West, but their siblings and parents," explains Simmons-Harris.
Ms. Harrison has positively added to the development of the school's atmosphere. Her leadership within her school and district is phenomenal. She's a lifetime learner and giver. Ms. Harrison supports her school and the surrounding areas of her school, but she also goes far and beyond across the Fulton County District to help others make a difference.
"I see her as getting in where she can fit in making a difference in a student, teacher, staff, or parent's life," said Simmons-Harris.
Ms. Harrison has a nurturing spirit. When she walks into an area, the atmosphere immediately changes! Ms. Harrison brings calmness, love, and peace when she leaves. Ms. Harrison has definitely made an impression on the lives of many!
"The world needs more educators like Deneatrice Harrison. I call her the 'PETMAD,' or the 'Phenomenal Educator That Makes a Difference,'" said Simmons-Harris.
