Audra Simmons-Pinckney was nominated by her colleague, Kimberly Snipe.

A LifeChanger is forever learning and growing so that they can help others do the same. Ms. Pinckney fits the description perfectly. She has always been a determined educator, and her willingness to handle all challenges that come her way shows that she can achieve anything. She has touched and changed the lives of so many students from the Awendaw-McClellanville section of Charleston County.

"I have nominated Ms. Audra because she is always working hard to complete her tasks as well as those that are far beyond what's expected of her," said Snipe. "She does it with a smile on her face. Her temperament is very calming, and she works great with the diverse staff and students at the St. James-Santee Elementary-Middle School location. Ms. Pinckney has been instrumental in the transformation of our school."

Ms. Pinckney is an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and Math and Literacy Coach. Her leadership extends to the community through serving as the president of Delta Iota Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. She has been a mentor teacher, test coordinator, and a Junior Beta club director, and she has many other accomplishments.

"It is my honor to nominate Audra Simmons-Pinckney as a LifeChanger," said Snipe.
