"I spent 26 years of my life committed to educating young people", explains Howard. "I've worked with a lot of administrators, educators, families, and students. Mrs. Eldenhi is someone who makes teaching look and feel like all adults should be invested in it every day!"
"She is always one of the first people in the building. Mrs. Eldenhi is a complete professional. I probably would've done better in English myself if I had her. She sits at her desk, planning the days for the students and the members of her team, and consistently asks which parents we have spoken to. I most remember her starting a dialogue, "These kids need...,'" said Howard.
"Each time I walked into the building, I stopped by her room first before I went to my room. I knew there was something that she would say or do that would let everybody know/feel it would be OK. She recognizes the strength in kids who others dismiss and builds the kids up who are most in need," said Howard.
"I look up to her. Mrs. Eldenhi was raised in the City of Champions, lives in the City of Champions, and educates the children of the City of Champions," said Howard. "E, you are my Champion! I respect, admire, look up to, honor, and love you! Thank you for being there and for being you!"
