Mr. Ramirez has made a difference in students' lives and continues to do so. The Montwood High School Robotics program has grown by leaps and bounds with his support and mentoring. Students in this program are more than teammates; they are family. Mr. Ramirez supports their drive for success and provides opportunities for kiddos to excel. Community outreach, field trips, championship tournaments, and opportunities to celebrate student success are some ways that Mr. Ramirez has created a culture of excellence. He has encouraged students to follow their dreams. Montwood High School Robotics has a history of producing successful teams. Still, the teams also learn from disappointments - they develop strength and resilience, characteristics that will serve them well in all walks of life.

"Mr. Ramirez is a role model and cheerleader for all students, whether it's through his role as the campus UIL coordinator, in his classroom, or as the robotics sponsor. He ensures that students are nurtured and guided to success," said Carrasco. "Mr. Ramirez is the definition of a LifeChanger!"
