Music that Describes Ha
Ha Dinh was nominated by her friend, Mabrie Burgett.
"I could speak volumes about this teacher, but the first thing that came to mind was how she exemplified such a famous Mother Teresa quote. So here is my retelling with her in mind," said Burgett.
"First graders are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered, and she delights in them anyway.
If she’s over the top with her kindness, parents may accuse her of being fake, but she’s kind anyway.
She spent years creating an incredible curriculum and classroom library that a new school board could destroy overnight. She creates anyway.
She’s happy to the point that some may be jealous, and yet, she’s happy anyway.
She’s so good to her students today and may even be forgotten as they grow older, but she’s good anyway.
She gives her best knowing it will never be enough, and yet, she gives her best anyway.
She is good for goodness' sake
She is kind for kindness' sake
She loves for love's sake."
Mrs. Dinh makes all her students feel like they’re her favorite. Every parent feels so much peace knowing how deeply she loves and roots for every kid that she is entrusted with. That's why every year, at Meet the Teacher, her classroom is filled with former students and parents, all mingling with her new batch of little ones lucky enough to call her their teacher!
"I wish every kid a teacher like Mrs. Dinh. She is a LifeChanger," said Burgett.
