Robyn Robinson was nominated by her friend, Patricia Hightower.
"Ms. Robinson is the sweetest, kindest, most intelligent young lady I have ever met," explains Hightower. "I have never seen a teacher who cares so much for her students. Not only did she bring my granddaughter out of a dark place, but she turned her whole life around. She taught her to believe in herself and that she can do whatever she puts her mind to. She took extra time with her students, had lunch with them, played games, took them to Stars and Stripes and Old Chicago Pizza, and would have a special day for them at school. She spoiled those kids and showed them much love."
"When my granddaughter moved on in school, she cried and said, 'I want to go back to Ms. Robinson!' Ms. Robinson told my granddaughter that she would always be in her life and if she needed her for anything, to let her know. She really brought my granddaughter out of a dark place, and now she wants to be a teacher like Ms. Robinson! We need more teachers like Ms. Robinson," said Hightower.
Ms. Robinson is a passionate and educated leader. I love how much time, dedication and love she puts into those she has the honor of teaching.
I'm so grateful to know Ms. Robyn Robinson! She is an advocate for both teachers AND students. She is also one of the most focused and intentional women I have ever met. Ms. Robinson does nothing halfway, but instead gives her all! She constantly uplifts and motivates others to keep going, to do more, and to live with purpose. Ms. Robinson, you are a blessing to everyone who has had the opportunity to see you lead with the love you have and show toward others!
Mrs Robinson is a very great teacher she pushes us very hard but it doesn’t mean I give up. So when she give us speeches I take them with me everyday and think about what she tells us and I try to do better every day I keep on pushing myself. Mrs Robinson can be funny some times but when she says it is time to work that is what she mean some times you can play with Mrs Robinson some time you can’t because she have to teach.
I think Mr Robinson is a good teacher. She gives us speeches that really inspires me to be doctor and get a education of college.She teaches us how to solve difficult problems too and she teaches us to be ourselves
Ms. Robinson is so Awesome. She is my daughter 5th grade Teacher. She truly takes pride in what she does for the students. Ms. Robinson has given the students an opportunity to express themselves through dance and joining in school clubs. She encourages the students to be Great in all that they do. The Science Olympian was a Big Turn out. I was so proud that we we're able to be a part of the competition. She has a true passion for the Future of today's kids Generation. Wow! Amazing! Compassionate! Those are the words that pop up in my mind first when I think of Ms. Robinson. She is an amazing person who motivates scholars and adults. I have witnessed students who had difficulties in school completely turn around for the better. Those difficulties could be academic, behavior or confidence. Her students know and feel that she cares for them and they would move mountains to please her. She is not only teaching them the academic skills they need, but she is also developing leaders. Her unique approach to teaching and relationship building speaks volumes! Her compassion for relationship building doesn’t end with the students. She has an amazing ability to get adults to come out of their shell and have fun. Ms. Robinson is always available to provide a positive word for adults and scholars. I often wonder when does she have time to sleep with all of her after school activities and personal responsibilities. Ms. Robinson finds a way to make everything happen. She always has a smile on her face and love in her heart for students and adults. Think about this…..you have to be pretty spectacular to be nominated for teacher of the year your first year at a new school. Ms. Robinson did that! Ms. Robinson keep up the great work because what you are doing really matters and the results are evident.
Ms.Robinson is one of the best teachers out there. She is kind and funny and sometimes tells me and my classmates stories about her life so that we can make ours better. She looks out for us and takes care of our needs. And she pushes us so that we can be the best of the best.
I have known Robyn for approximately 15 years. She has a servant's heart working with children. She ensures every child she touches through education is treated with the same level of care and respect. She is concerned about their total life, both at school and home. Robyn is a passionate teacher that is very creative. She has spent numerous hours ensuring the curriculum taught interestingly. Her teaching style is motivating her students to strive for greatness.

Robyn is very well deserving of this honor. The passion she has for the children placed in her care is unmatched. She went above and beyond for my son to push past the limitations given to him by his diagnosis and medical challenges. My son grew so much while in her class and he still asks about her today, several years later, so that says a great deal to me. My absolute favorite thing about Ms Robinson is that she prayed over my son and her classroom. She didn’t even have to tell me, I could feel a noticeable difference from outside her classroom vs inside….it was the presence and peace of the Lord.

I don’t think I have ever met a single person more passionate about education that Robyn Robinson. I’m convinced that this is what she was born to do. She truly understands that every child is unique and they learn differently so she somehow manages to adjust her style of teaching for each child as needed . Ms. Robinson very connected to her students and each of them hold a special place in her heart. She is involved in their lives long after they leave her classroom.
There are not many teacher left like Ms. Robinson. We should celebrate her as much as we can. She is definitely a gem in the teaching field and is an overall amazing person.

I recently visited Ms. Robinson’s class where I witnessed the demonstration of love, community, and excellence! I really enjoyed her student-centered learning environment… I learned a lot in regard to personalized learning and differentiated learning. It was also evident that her students love and respect her. Additionally, it is evident that she loves and respects her students. Very Empowering & Inspiring!
God gave Robinson the gift of teaching. In honor of her Savior and Lord and through His Holy Spirit's guidance, Robinson has poured herself into every student that has been given her whether in a classroom or via tutoring. I've seen non-readers become award winners in reading, math illiterates become proficient learners in math. Whether they are special needs or regular education students, each one is challenged to reach goals that they set together. She is the students' educator,

Robyn E Robinson is the embodiment of dedication, kindness, patience, and love! I’ve known her since 2010 when she was a Teacher Assistant in the Normandy School District in St. Louis, Missouri. Her niece was a student at the Early Childhood Center where I was assigned. Ms. Robinson did everything within her power to lovingly assist her niece in developing and maintaining a positive attitude about preparing for a successful and happy future via education! I’ve watched Robyn progress and grow by moving to Georgia and becoming a certified educator that loves her craft and the reason for it…kids! Robyn is a blessing to the field of education. She has a gift for reaching every child in her classroom. I call her the “Student Whisperer”. I have seen her work with students who pose a challenge for other teachers. Students from other grades beg to go to her room. Some students will pretend to need to see their siblings in Robyn’s room, just to go sit in Robyn’s class. She is passionate about reaching and teaching all students. I have been in education over 3 decades and I have never seen anyone who can teach and inspire students the way Robyn does.
Being a fellow educator, and also the reciprient of teaching awards, I know what it takes to be an effective teacher, and Robyn embodies that and more. Since I have known Robyn, she has always been a light. It’s so amazing to see her spread that light every year to all of her students. Anyone who is lucky enough to be in her presence knows what a gift she is. Robyn’s joyous spirit and passionate dedication to the things she values is extremely inspirational.
Robyn was my son’s (who just turned 21), Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. She was an amazing teacher who provided engaging hands on instruction to a diverse group of learners. Robyn was always involved in her students success in and out of the classroom. My son developed a love for learning at an early age because of her commitment to her students.
I think Robyn is an excellent person in the community. she loves kids deeply when she loves them. she loves their that whole family ..she supports them in school as well as at church as well as physically whatever the kids need and they let her know ,she's going to do her best to help them to achieve their goals no matter what it takes. she help kids to achieve their goal in life she's an excellent educator mentor, friend ,counselor, supporter. she's a wonderful teacher and a person. I'm blessed to have her apart of our community.

Robyn is a great teacher. She works with students that are at risk of becoming a static. These students are low in educational achievement and low household income. These are students that have less access to books, computers, and other resources that they need to become successful. Most of these students are behind because of the lack of foundation in basic reading and phonics skills. Robyn really takes the time to try to caught these students up. She also tries to make learning fun for the students. The students really respect Mrs. Robinson. I have been in education for 20 years and this is one of the few times that I have seen a fifth grade teacher interact and game the respect of their students. She also does after school tutoring with these students. She incorporated a flag football team, and also a dance team. Some of the students that were off task and with major behavior problems are turning things around. This a not an average school that she works at. This is a school with behavior problems and struggling students. For her to be able to accomplished these things says a lot about her character. I believe she was placed with these students for a reason. Someone like Robyn deserves to be the life Changer of the Year.

Robinson goes over and beyond for her students both inside and outside of the classroom. She is very passionate about teaching and her enthusiasm spills over to everyone in her building. She is a team player and a natural leader.

This is the most sincere woman I have ever met and for her to be the 5th grade teacher for my son is really a blessing. My son was a good child but with her influence and leadership, I seen my son excel at levels that allowed him to go from a A,B student to a Straight A student and his knowledge for education has improved. Ms. Robinson is such an amazing teacher. My twin grandchildren love her as well. She always called and made sure to keep me updated with their progress in the classroom and even took the time to call and check on them outside of school. We definitely need teachers like this in the classrooms that mentors and help these kids be the best they can be. Robyn Robinson is an amazing teacher! Her classroom is not decorated like a typical classroom, but it looks like a home. Students are not sitting in desks. They are sitting on couches, stools, at tables, and the floor. There is no tension or pressure for students to learn. They are excited and comfortable when they are in Ms. Robinson’s classroom. When students enter her classroom each day, the students seemed confident and enthusiastic about school.

For the 3 weeks was influential for my sons academic development. She helped set up a structure and taught him core basics such as number-sequence and phonics. She drove 12 hours from Atlanta to Dallas to come along side and assist with his development and right now he is academically, is off to a good start this year. I am so grateful for the foundation she did set!

Ms.Robyn was fun to be around. She was very supportive and determined for us succeed. She made all of us very comfortable, and always had a surprise for us. She was like family, she still is like family. I try my hardest to keep in contact with her because she made a big impact on my life. A wonderful soul, a wonderful spirit, and a phenomenal woman.
Ms.Robinson has truly been a gift for both of my children. Even after she was no longer their teacher. Especially for my son who has Austism. She helped him flourish and treated him no different than any other child. She encouraged both of my kids to not give up and to try their hardest in all they do. To this day she has checked up on them and even came by our home for a personal visit when things were tough for us. She is truly an advocate for children and she backs this up with not only words but with her actions and we are blessed to have had her as a teacher and friend.

Robyn Robinson is an all around amazing person! The love and compassion she has for children can not be measured! She really has a genuine heart for her students as well as other children. Although my daughter was not in her class, she always wanted to be. Every year she asked if she could be in Ms. Robinson's class. Mrs.Robison, There no other way to say is Mrs Robison is the best Teacher my daughter has had she really go very extremely extra for her students she’s a Communicator with the parents and helpful with her students. Ms. Robyn, is obvious a Life Changer and a Change Agent in the lives of those she comes in contact with; whether educational or in general. She just have a way of motivating people to push to present their best selves without them being forced. I also salute Robyn for being a spiritual lightbearer to so many that need to see a great example through her personal commitment to Christ likeness.
Ms Robinson was a Godsend for my autistic son. She made him love school, and pushed him academically further than I thought possible while remaining kind, compassionate and encouraging. She’s definitely a life changer!

Robyn is truly filled with such pure love and desire to raise up the next generation in excellence! She is a natural leader and moves through life with such grace she is a life changer and a world changer! Her sacrifice through her dance ministry blessed me personally and I know whatever she does it’s going to be a blessing to others as well.
