Tiffany Hill was nominated by Elayne Sapp, a member of the community.

Mrs. Hill was a first-generation college student, so she understands how many students struggle with the college application process. Therefore, she has made it her mission to do all she can to assist her students with their college applications.

It began with assisting her dance students and grew to other students outside of her dance class. She not only helps them with their college applications, but she also assists them with housing and other important college preparation. She has encouraged and inspired La Marque High School students to further their education and go on to do amazing things. Many of the students she has and continues to inspire come from households where they would be the first generation to attend college. Some are even first-generation high school graduates.

"When I heard Mrs. Hill's story, I fell in love with her mission and passion for guiding and encouraging all students to seek knowledge and become their best selves," said Sapp. "She has a beautiful spirit and an amazing heart for teaching and being of service to her students. She is truly making a difference in her school, students, and community."

Ms. Hill is such and wonderful teacher and a great inspiration to all of her students and non students whom are in need of help to advance there life after high school. It is such an honor to call her a colleague.

Ms. Hill creates a family atmosphere in her classroom. Her students and essentially her children, nieces or nephews. She’s a beacon of hope and inspiration of dreams for many of our students. Her commitment to serve is unmatched.
