LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Michael Menor was nominated by Sandra Baca, a family member.

"Michael is an asset to Kit Carson Elementary School and our family," explains Baca. "I have seen him at school with the children, and I see that they love him. They like being around him, and the kids have told me that they love their teacher. He has a positive nature about him, and he loves interacting with the children on a daily basis. I have heard positive things about him being with the children and his colleagues. I also work for APS, so I hear positive comments about him. I have heard he goes above and beyond for his students and always tries to turn negativity into positivity."  

Mr. Menor is a great dad, so therefore, he is also a great teacher. He can always put a smile on your face, whether an adult or a child. Mr. Menor tries to make every student thinks greatly about themselves. There are some children in need, and he hopes to make a difference in the lives of every student he comes into contact with. Mr. Menor always tries to bring out the good in adults and children. He always states that life is too short, so you need to live for today. You need to make at least one child smile and help them believe that they are important, whether in school or at home, and that they make a difference in the lives of others.
