Music that Describes Sarah

Sarah Lopez was nominated by her colleague, Shannon Bachicha.

"Sarah Lopez is amazing," explains Bachicha. "I couldn't do my job without Sarah. There are times when a lesson just isn't working and I have to switch it up. Sarah rescues me with last-minute copies. Sarah helps our school tech person by taking on some of the more basic responsibilities. She has been a huge help with Chromebook issues and logistics. I can't even tell you how many times she has helped me create something on the printer."

Sarah is also involved in student council. She sponsors student council and gets involved in school activities. She often helps the librarian, and she has the most helpful attitude.

"Sarah has a smile for everyone and a willingness to help in any way she can. She elevates the school climate with her presence. I feel very fortunate to work with her," said Bachicha.

I agree 100% with everything Shannon said. I was teaching there before Sarah and everything about my job got easier after she came. She provides daily, all-around support to the teachers and students at LBJ, and in an emergency you can always count on her to give you whatever you need to help your students be successful. She's had a huge impact on school climate as well, she's a sounding-board and a kind of counselor for all of us when we need to talk to someone who cares about us and our students.
