There are special people whose names are synonymous with generosity and making the world a better place. If you are lucky enough to meet them, you know you are in the presence of greatness, and you are forever changed.
"Lenora M. Coleman is one of those special people. I have had the great fortune to partner with her in community engagements that allowed school-age children and their parents to learn financial literacy and stock market basics," explains Walker. "I have also observed her as a leader organizing on behalf of the well-being of over-exploited communities. She is dependable and trustworthy, and she always maintains a positive attitude."
Mrs. Coleman models compassionate leadership every day on campus and in the community, in small and large ways, from a simple arm around the shoulder of a struggling teacher to providing books to brighten the holidays for those over-exploited. She helps her students and colleagues achieve the school's goals and celebrate their greatest accomplishments together. Mrs. Coleman is there for her peers during times of need, grief, and celebration. At any given time, she's there for others as they experience the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
