Erica Sharp received multiple nominations, one of them from Nadezhda Alyabyeva, a parent of a student.

"Ms. Sharp is a very professional teacher," explains Alyabyeva. "She is always ready to help students, and the children adore her. Her classroom has a friendly atmosphere.  She has high moral qualities. Ms. Sharp gives all the necessary knowledge to children, and I can see from my son how much knowledge he will receive this year.
