Kendra Mason was nominated by her colleague, Brian McDaniel.
Ms. Mason is the athletic trainer extraordinaire at Rancho Mirage High School. Over the last few years, she has been a game changer in covering her herculean workload of keeping athletes healthy. She has also been on top of COVID protocols and testing. While most students were stuck inside during distance learning, the kids at Rancho Mirage were able to participate in cluster grouping that Ms. Mason helped oversee.
"I appreciate all the care and love she shows to our students and staff. For these reasons and more, she deserves the title of Life Changer of the Year," said McDaniel.
