Jamie Andrews was nominated by Julie Byers, one of her family members.
"I would like to nominate Jamie Andrews, with high regards to her character, unique skills, and love for teaching and all of her students," explains Byers. "I have watched her (outside of work hours) spend most of her time working. She also spends her own money for supplies all the time. Her compassion, loyalty, and empathy for her students, and even all people, are extraordinary. Every child should have a teacher like her."
She is extremely knowledgeable and has so many talents when it comes to addressing each student's needs, whatever they may be. She's creative in her ways, so much so that students respond well to her and can see their developments in such positive ways.
"I really hope to see her recognized for her hard work and for being the great person that she is. What a great influence and help to other teachers and parents by having such talents and compassion," said Byers.
