Music that Describes Crystal
Crystal Eoff was nominated by her colleague, April Byrd.
During her seven years at the Grandview R-II School District, Mrs. Eoff has held a different position almost every year. This was because there were several high-need areas that needed to be filled, and Mrs. Eoff never shies away from a challenge. She has been a special education teacher, high school business teacher, reading specialist, middle school principal, and most recently, the Special Services Administrator.
In her past two years as Special Services Administrator, Mrs. Eoff has completely changed the culture and climate of the special education staff. She has created a unified team that makes decisions based upon what is best for students. She advocates for her staff so they are provided with the best training and resources possible to assist them in being more effective at what they do.
Mrs. Eoff is known for personally reviewing each and every individual education plan (IEP) to ensure the goals and accommodations best meet the needs of students. Upon entering the special education leadership position at Grandview, she worked diligently to get the program back into compliance. She built solid, trusting relationships with families, which were strained in the past. She also advocated for students to take part in the IEP meetings so they can provide input about supports that would be beneficial for them.
To continue her education, Mrs. Eoff went back to college and is in the process of earning her Educational Specialist's degree from Missouri Baptist University. She is a part of many area leadership teams and committees to grow her professional learning network. She sets an example for her colleagues to never stop learning and growing. Mrs. Eoff has completed all these achievements while also being a mom of two young children.
"Crystal hopes to be a superintendent one day, and I would be honored to work on her leadership team," said Byrd.
I have been honored to work under the administration of Crystal Eoff in the Special Education Department as a Speech Language Pathologist. Crystal is a great leader for out Special Education Department. She advocates for her staff and the special education students. She listens to her staff and teachers, and is willing to go above and beyond to help anyone in need. She is always willing to learn more about Special Education, and grow professionally alongside her team.
I have truly enjoyed watching Crystal grow as a student, an educator, and a leader! I appreciated her calm demeanor in the days she taught in the room next to mine, and still appreciate her influence when I work as a substitute with SpEd students. She is always ready to help anyone whether it's something mentioned in a conversation or a direct request. She is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and makes a point to know everyone in her building and beyond!
I’ve known Crystal for most of her life and she is such an inspiration!
It has been awesome to watch Crystal tackle whatever task she is given in our district. I taught with her at Grandview High School and I love her tenacity and positive attitude. She had multiple classes to prep for and tackled them with enthusiasm. She wants to succeed. She wants to see students succeed. Nothing about her is lazy or indifferent. She gives 100% in everything, both work and personal. It’s been so great to watch her grow and succeed at the different jobs she’s had in our district - teacher, principal, and now as special services administrator, where I believe she’s found her true calling. She really is a life changer for so many students in our district!
Crystal is one of my administrators. She is supportive of teachers and consistently fights for the needs of her students!
I had the opportunity to go through education classes with Crystal. I have loved watching her grow and be successful. She is one of the best out there. She has a heart of gold and would do anything to help! She is so deserving of this recognition!
Crystal has been amazing help to not only me but to all the educators in our building. She genuinely cares about the staff and students well-being while keeping in mind what is best for the student even when it can be hard. She wants everyone to succeed. She truly deserves this recognition!
You definitely deserve this Chrystal! You have changed so many lives, both staff and students! Thank you for always working hard, being a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend.
I had the privilege of working with Crystal at Grandview. Her passion for what she does is contagious! I didn’t get to work under her in the Special Education department, but if her drive is even half of what it was when I worked with her, I know she deserves this. She is completely dedicated to doing what’s best for the students!
Crystal Eoff is certainly a life-changer! She works tirelessly for the students and teachers of our district. She has wonderful ideas and is always encouraging!
Crystal is an amazing leader in our district. She works hard to take care of her students and staff. A well deserved nomination and acknowledgement of her passion for education.
If anyone deserves life changer of the year, it’s Crystal Eoff. Crystal works around the clock to make sure her staff, work, and family are taken care of. She is not only the best boss I’ve ever worked for, but one of the most compassionate and kind human’s I’ve ever came across. My life would not be what it is today without her. She has absolutely changed my life in so many positive ways. I truly cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award than Crystal Eoff.
I have the honor of being blessed to be Crystal's Aunt. She is the most amazing person that I know, she is so caring, dependable, faithful, career driven and absolutely the strongest person that I know. She is so dedicated and always gives more than 100% in everything she does in life. She definitely deserves recognition and is absolutely a Life Changer.
I have known Crystal most of her life - 1st as her school bus driver - then as her para during her 1st year as a special education teacher. She went on to be our High School business teacher - to our Middle School Principal. Last year she became our Special Services Administrator and I have the privilege of being her secretary. I have seen up close her involvement in everything she does and that she never backs down or refuses to tackle any challenge. Special Education is her passion. Crystal impacts the entire school thru this department. She begins by working closely with her staff - teachers & paras - bringing them to their highest potential. She makes herself available to all. She is honest and upfront (some may say 'in your face') but it is always to bring out the best in all of us. Her goal is for all to succeed. She changes lives for the better in any way she can. Thanks Crystal!
I have known Crystal since she was 14 years old. I have watched her grow from a goal driven teenager to a goal driven adult. I have had the honor of being Crystal's mother- in-law for almost 11 years now. It has amazed me how she has managed to work, go to school, and always be there for her family. I had the pleasure of working with Crystal 2 years ago. Not only was it my last year teaching before I retired but it was the year we all had to change our teaching methods because of covid. There were many changes that had to take place in Special Education. You would never have guessed that it was Crystal's 1st year as a Special Education Director. She successfully helped new teachers, an old teacher (getting ready to retire), all of our students, and parents make it through the year. Crystal has stepped into every position of her career as if she had always been there.
Crystal, I am very proud of you! You are so deserving of this recognition.

This is awesome!! You deserve this and so much more. You are a fantastic asset to our district. You are loved by everyone! Congratulations and best of luck. ?
This is one of my bosses at work and more importantly my friend. This lady has a heart that cannot be matched. She is often my voice of reason and is ALWAYS thinking of the kids. She works especially with the kids who don't always have their own voice and does everything in her power to provide them with tools for success. She is an awesome mom, a ride or die friend, and an all around sweet soul. Check out her link and please vote for her when voting opens! ??
Crystal, Congratulations on the nomination and good luck on being awarded the Life Changer Of The Year Award. You make your family and friends proud. When I grow up I want to be like you.
