Heidi is an early adapter of new initiatives, making her a fantastic coach to her peers and an example of perpetual learning to her students. Heidi is always eager to find solutions that work for her students, even when that means turning what she already knows how to do on its head.

Heidi Merki is one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever worked with in 29 years. Success of her students is her number one priority. She is constantly working to perfect her craft and is beyond valuable as a human, educator and friend.

Heidi does a wonderful job differentiating instruction and meeting kids accommodation needs. She is a dream as a special ed teacher and a EL teacher. We need to bottle her teaching and distribute widely!
