Aaron Brown was nominated by his friend, Jamie King, and multiple students. Below are quotes from their nominations.

"I have known Aaron for over half of my life. In college, I was in several bands with Aaron, and he excelled in all of them. I saw his impeccable leadership ability in college, and I can see that he has even surpassed that level in his career. Aaron has always been one of the best people I know, with the highest moral and ethical standards. The performance of his bands in his career has been fantastic, which, of course, never surprised me at all. He has always had such a fun, laid-back personality that only makes you want to do your best, and I can easily see that this carried over into his professional career. The Chickasaw students are beyond lucky to have any exposure to Aaron Brown at all. I'm thankful for his friendship, and I'm thankful that he chose teaching as his career," said King.

"Mr. Brown is my band teacher. He teaches music and is great at it. He does everything he can to make me better at the trumpet. Mr. Brown does production and is very good at it, too. I'm very grateful for him to be my band teacher because he is funny, kind, and stern, and he treats all of his student as equals," said one student.

"I nominate Mr. Brown because he is a leader. He knows when to have fun and when to be serious. He made me into an awesome trumpet player, and I will try my hardest to stay like that. Mr. Brown also played band with Alabama, and I really think he's famous. He is a cool teacher who is great to this world," said one student.
