"Last year was difficult, as well as this year, but it has been made a whole lot easier because of people like Gidget Peters. Gidget has been tasked with supporting our students, both physically and emotionally. She has been responsible for coordinating and implementing contact tracing all over the district. She has a calm demeanor when explaining district protocols to parents, and she has been a resource to our staff. Gidget moves between Englewood Elementary and the Kleptz Early Learning Center, but she also gets pulled to other buildings who are short-staffed, so the day is unpredictable for her. She is an asset to her school buildings and the district with her knowledge and demeanor," said Johnston.
