Tara Trudo was nominated by one of her colleagues.

Ms. Trudo has devoted her time and excellence to students in her district for many years. She is selfless and empathetic to all students. She has made math approachable for many students who wouldn't have been able to understand it otherwise. Ms. Trudo is positive to all of her colleagues and gives advice or a listening ear. All students cheer when she comes in the classroom, even though they know it will mean they have to do math. She just has that effect on others.

"Her leadership skills are used in a purposeful way with her students and colleagues in mind. I, along with everyone else in our district, am forever grateful for her mentorship. Everyone speaks so highly of her and enjoys all the knowledge she brings them," said her colleague.
