Ezzard Castillo was nominated by his spouse, Donna Castillo.

After serving the United States for 20 years as a member of the Air Force, Mr. Castillo has devoted the last 19 years to working with students with learning struggles. Thirteen of those years have been spent at River City Christian School. He has worked in Christian education for a total of 21 years and holds Master's degrees in Education and Theology. In addition, Mr. Castillo serves on the ICAA Accreditation Commission. He is an ordained minister who has been married to his wonderful wife for 30 years. Together, they have raised two sons and a daughter, and they presently have five grandsons.
