Reginald Taylor was nominated by his colleague, Edwina Breaux.
"Reginald is not only one of the best teachers, but an absolute genuine friend and colleague," said Breaux. "I have had the pleasure to work with Mr. Taylor for 15 years now. In fact, he was the first person who made me feel welcomed as a new teacher on campus."
Mr. Taylor is an epitome of a true, loving educator. He is very dedicated to education and is passionate about helping all students. Mr. Taylor wears many hats and is always willing to assist students in many capacities. He is very patient, and he listens to students and adults' problems with a keen ear and open heart to see the brighter side of things.
Mr. Taylor is such an encourager and inspiration to anyone he meets. He truly has the gift for turning negative situations into positive ones. Beyond teaching math in the classroom, he assists students by giving them the skills and knowledege to not only apply for college, but get accepted. In fact, he keeps up with many of his students who have completed college and are established in their careers. Many of his former students frequently return and express how grateful they are for having Mr. Taylor as their teacher. He is truly a LifeChanger!
