"I arrived at the school early and noticed Kent standing in the middle of the hallway entrance. He greeted every student as they walked inside with 'good morning', 'I like that backpack,' 'How's your dad? Yes, I know your dad,' 'I missed you yesterday,' etc.," said Parker. "When I had a chance to speak with him, I commented about his morning routine.  He has been a custodian for over 25 years and believes, as I do, that these positive comments can set the tone for the rest of that student's day. His time is well spent. Some students need to know someone cares about them! Every school needs a Mr. Kent posted at the door!"
