Candace Paul was nominated by an anonymous student.

"I haven't seen Ms. Paul in so long. It has been a while since I had her class, and the last time I saw her was around 8th grade, when I was her TA," said the student. "Ms. Paul was one of the first teachers I had a real connection and friendship with, and I appreciate the experience and learning environment she created for me. Ironically, it was one of the first times I had fun in an English class, even though she was a health teacher. She created an amazing environment where I not only learned English, but life skills like cleaning, taking care of my own goods, and organization. As I become a 'prosperous' writer, or so people tell me, I always remember Ms. Paul as one of my favorite teachers. I hope to see her soon because it has been a while...She was an amazing teacher who set me up for success later down the line as I move throughout high school and graduate next year."
