"Kaci goes beyond her job to make sure her students are well cared for and learning their best," McGuire said.
I can't think of anyone that is more deserving of this award. Her kindness is contagious. The children trust her and she shows them love and compassion every single day. She loves her job and both the children and the parents can feel that.
I can’t think of any one more deserving! What a ray of sunshine to everyone she meets. She’s the epitome of who you would want to teach your child, a loving, empathetic, compassionate educator.
I have had Kaci in church youth for 12 years and watched her grow up working on farm. She has a strong work ethic that carries over into her teaching career. She serves others without hesitation and brightens everyone’s day. Although a strong lady, I have witnessed her crying and praying over other’s burdens, including students. Kaci provides stability for our children, many who would not experience otherwise. Her passion and love for her student is why she would be the perfect person for Life Changing Award.
Kaci is a blessing to all that know her. She is a part our our district’s kindergarten team. She’s a hard worker and truly loves her students. Congratulations!
Kaci is a ray of sunshine ?? Her passion for teaching flows over into our worship. I’m here to tell you each child is blessed to be instructed by her. She knows each child is a gift from God and pours her God given talents into each one. She’s truly a humble teacher who loves what she does and does her job 110%. Very deserving!!

Kaci Cooke has a passion for teaching that inspires her students to learn.
Kaci had my daughter for Kindergarten. My daughter had multiple health needs and she went out of her way to make sure my Harper always had what she needed and was included with the class activities. To this day (two.years later) by daughter still runs to hug her when she sees her. She truly is a wonderful human.

I was Kaci’s Supervising teacher when she was doing her Student Teaching. I have 2nd grade in Point Pleasant, WV. As soon as she came to my classroom, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She stepped right in her role as teacher and practically took over my class. She was amazing from day 1. She became family at our school and worked tirelessly every day. I could never thank her enough for what she did for my students and me that year! She was definitely an angel sent in my time of need. I knew she would be the best teacher at any level. I am proud to call her a colleague and friend!
