James Taffel was nominated by member of his community, Michael Deering.

Mr. Taffel is a LifeChanger for so many students who attend Barre City Elementary and Middle School. He continually provides exemplary leadership and guidance to all of the staff, faculty and students. He works far too many hours selflessly, and meets with individual students and parents on a regular basis to ensure a wonderful academic experience.

"He consistently goes far above and beyond without any hesitation," Deering said. "This man exemplifies what a great educator should aspire to be!"
