Nurse Jen is a phenomenal school nurse! She is loving and caring and the preschool students absolutely love Nurse Jen. Throughout this pandemic, she has been a strong anchor for our preschool community as well as our district community. Nurse Jen has provided staff members with support, knowledge and various resources during the pandemic. On top of coordinating all of the flu shot clinics every year, she took on the massive coordination of providing our entire Mehlville school district, staff and students, with the opportunity to get the COVID-19 vaccine at each level when it became available. Each clinic was well put together and all of the nurses were able to answer questions pertaining to the vaccine. This great undertaking could not have been done without her knowledge and expertise. Nurse Jen is indeed a "lifechanger" and our Mehlville community certainly appreciates her! Great Job Nurse Jen and thank you for all that you do!!!
Nurse Ahearn is an amazing nurse, boss, and person. She is compassionate, intelligent, and upbeat. She always goes above and beyond her job duties. The district is lucky to have her and she is more than worthy of this acknowledgment. Thank you Jen for everything!!
Jen is compassionate, caring, fair, positive and supportive as a lead nurse in our district as well as the nurse for the kids and staff at the Early Childhood Center. The amount of time and energy she puts into her job on a daily basis goes well over and beyond the call of duty. These past few years have been extremely challenging and she has not backed down, continues to support her nursing staff to the best of her ability and is an amazing leader. She truly deserves this honor.
