Rebecca Amos was nominated by her colleague, Jennifer Valotta.
"Rebecca is the rock of our parish! She goes above and beyond to make sure the entire parish is in perfect alignment," said Valotta. "She always has a smile on her face and a warm welcome to each and every student who walks in her path. Rebecca is an amazing coworker who cares for us all, both emotionally and physically. She is a great mother and grandmother. She always makes me feel like one of her own. Rebecca is irreplaceable and is loved by many!"
Nurse Becky is the bomb! She’s the key leader for health in our school system and has gone above and beyond to give help and guidance when needed. She is always responsive when you have questions. She has been extremely knowledgeable throughout the pandemic, especially in regards to regulations and new developments for what we can do in our schools. I am so very thankful that we have her on our team!
I have the pleasure of having Rebecca as my supervisor. But she is not just my boss, she is my friend. Whenever I have a question or concern, she is always there to help me out. She is a strong leader in a community that can be very scrutinizing, especially in these COVID times. I am grateful to be able to work with Rebecca.
Rebecca is one of the most caring individuals that I have ever known. Her work ethic and commitment to Plaquemines Parish School is second to none. She is an incredible leader of the her fellow nurses and assists each and everyone of them as needed without even being asked. She is not only and incredible nurse, but also and incredible mother and grandmother.
Rebecca is an amazing supervisor, she is a strong leader and compassionate about her job!
