Juliana Sanchez was nominated by her principal, Shaunte Morris.

"It gives me great pleasure in nominating Nurse Juliana Sanchez for the LifeChanger of the Year Program. I have known her for three years, currently in my capacity as her principal," said Morris.

Since her first day, Nurse Sanchez has demonstrated a high level of intelligence, care, and concern, as well as the ability to care for everyone who steps foot on campus. Currently, she is serving as the full-time campus nurse. Her job performance is outstanding while she strives daily to go above and beyond. She is more than a school nurse. She is also able to analyze campus concerns and conclude with logical reasoning for the betterment of all of her students, whether medically-related or not. Nurse Sanchez has shown the ability to deal with complex matters while being creative at the same time.

Nurse Sanchez is also an effective communicator. She constantly keeps the community, staff, and students abreast of health issues and concerns through the Nurse’s Corner in her district's monthly newsletter, The Wildcat Word. She is persistent, efficient, and highly motivated, and she takes pride in being the campus medical professional. At the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, she rearranged the campus clinic and removed her work area to make a larger, safer, and more comfortable space to accommodate students and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I recommend Nurse Sanchez in the strongest terms for being a LifeChanger of the Year winner," said Morris.
