Diana Wilson was nominated by multiple colleagues.

“If I had to identify the most important person at our school right now it would be our school nurse, Diana Wilson,” explains one of her colleagues. “Since March 2020, she has worked non-stop to make sure our students, staff, and families remain healthy. She is not only the sweetest nurse you can meet, but she is knowledgeable, as well. If any of us have any questions, day and night, she is always available. Between last school year and the current one, it hasn't been uncommon for her to work late nights answering calls and COVID questions.”

She is extremely thoughtful and has a caring heart for the wellbeing of the students. She calms her colleagues when they are worried and not only sees the students, but the staff, as well. From flu shots to getting glasses for students, she is one of the best resources you could have. She organizes field trips for free glasses and dental work, which many students and families would be unable to afford otherwise.

“Diana Wilson has a commitment to Pyburn Elementary in her 31 years of service. We hope that we can keep her for many more years to come, as she is a true asset to our team. Nurse Wilson is a LifeChanger for our school,” said her colleagues.
