Katrina Callaway was nominated by her colleague, David Sporn.

Ms. Callaway is fairly new to Loara High School and has only been there for a couple of years. She is a seasoned educator and principal who enthusiastically brought a strong vision, leadership, and conviction to her school. She has strong plans to connect her school to the community like it never has before.

"We educate in a low income area and deal with constant struggles," David Sporn said. "Katrina carries a huge weight but is supported by caring and nurturing staff, students and parents. She is doing an amazing job and I look forward to seeing the journey we all take together."
