Ms. Contreras, is a wonderful colleague, parent, and friend. She is wonderfully compassionate to those around her, and is always looking out for the best interests of the students and staff that she works with. I recently was able to receive my Moderna booster shot, because she organized a vaccine drive at our school. Numerous people including staff, community members and random walk-ins were given access to free vaccines. The COVID pandemic has been hard on many. Ms. Contreras puts herself at risk every day she comes to work, and on a personal level I also know that she has struggled with loss in her own family due to this ongoing pandemic. Despite the hardships she faces, she shows up with unconditional warmth and kindness. I am so blessed to have also taught her son Ethan. Whom also exhibits her best qualities. I strongly encourage everyone who has ever interacted with this angel to vote for her.
