Kellie Poole was nominated by her colleague, Cindi Knox.
"Kellie was new to our school last year, and from the very first day, her optimism and energy was contagious and extremely impressive," said Knox. "Throughout the school year, I witnessed her dedication to students firsthand. This was especially easy for me to witness because her room was directly across the hall from mine. Before the school day even began, Kellie would greet students going down the hall with a genuine smile and comments that would lift them up. She not only did this for her students, but as many as she could! High fives, jokes, playful namecalling, and hugs were (and I'm sure still are) commonplace. Once classes began, I could hear her teaching with passion and energy. Though I could not hear specifics, I could see and hear her on the phone with parents and guardians fostering positive relationships to help her 'kids.'"
"Kellie and I worked closely together to ensure the success of her students who were taking my history classes," said Knox. "I was convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that she genuinely cares. She has that 'do whatever it takes' attitude and determination to help students achieve their academic and career goals. I believe everyone would agree that Kellie will change the lives of her students in a positive way each and every year. In short, Kellie is genuine, compassionate, optimistic, energetic, determined, knowledgeable, and truly a LifeChanger in the lives of her students!"
Mrs.Poole has actually taken the time to get to know me. she works with me understanding that everyone has bad days, She lets me know that everything will be okay, you just have to keep pushing through even though times get hard. She is just so amazing she is so understanding of my situation. I know this has nothing to do with this but her knowing my life and the difficulties I had asked her to be my mother and she said that she would gladly adopt me, hearing that made my day I had almost started crying; with that, she is like a mother to all of us she listens to our problems and does everything she can to help you. she saw the behavioral plan that I had from my other school and she looked at it and put it aside she did see that side of me she want to know the real me and not what other people said about me. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MRS. POOLE YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!

Mrs. Kelli Poole has helped me through a lot. when I first came to Reeltown high school, I met her and I told her that "she was going to be one of my favorite people at this school" and to this day she is. she is such a happy person. she is one of the best teachers at Reeltown. she cares for others, if something is going on with someone she will be there for them and comfort them. sometimes I wish that my mom was like her. Mrs.Poole is not just my friend but she has a special place in my heart. Mrs. Poole is one gorgeous teacher. I love you Mrs. Poole

Mrs. Kelli Poole has been a huge help in my life. She is always down to earth and is always willing to help anyone that needs help. When Mrs. Poole came to Reeltown Highschool in 2020, she was new to me. She has always helped me do my school work and is always willing to help me. There isn't a day that goes by at RHS that Mrs. Poole doesn't have a smile on her face. She might be my teacher but deep down she is like family to me. I love the way Mrs. Poole shows love to anyone and everyone at RHS and congratulations Mrs. Poole!!!!!!!
I meet Mrs.pool last year and if it wasn't for her I would have dropped out of school and she has helped me become someone that I could be proud of.
Kelli is the most positive and caring person I have ever met! She has a heart of gold! She goes over and beyond for her students daily! She never gives up on them, and always pushes for what is best for the student even if it requires more work for her!
I met Kelli through softball! She was always such a hard worker and still is! She was always everyone’s biggest fan! Even if she was having a bad day or made a bad play, she always kept her head held high and everyone always looked up to her! She’s so deserving of this award!
Kelli’s positive attitude and genuine excitement to impact others lives shines through her words and actions. The students and community are lucky to have her serve them!
Kelli absolutely is a Life Changer! The passion she has for her students is truly unmeasurable! Her kindness, love, and compassion for others is shown in everything she does from teaching, to her church life, and her home life. She truly is an individual that 'has never met a stranger'. I have always been so proud of Kelli, and couldn't think of anyone else more deserving of this award!
From the moment you came into this world, you were a life changer to me. As your farther I couldn't be prouder. Kelli has always put others before herself and saw the good in what anyone had to offer no matter their circumstances. Your students in the classroom benefit from your enthusiasm and drive, I see this in everyone of them that I have come across. This nomination is a true testament to your LOVE for what you are doing. God gifted you with an amazing talent. It’s an honor to watch you achieve your goals. I can only imagine what your like as a teacher because I see what an amazing mother you are. I’m so proud of you and thankful that I’m your mom.
Kellie is an awesome teacher and an even better person! She puts her best effort into everything that she does, going out of the way to place her student's best interests first. Kelli is a shining example of how to make a positive difference in each person's life- student and faculty alike. The way that she has worked with staff and administrators to come up with "out of the box" solutions to issues has been nothing short of outstanding. We are so proud to have her in our RHS Family!!!
Kellie is a true example of a life changer. She is always willing to help help her colleagues with professional challenges as well as personal challenges, Most importantly however, she strives daily to be a difference maker in the lives of her students. She teaches students of varying ability levels and meets them where they are academically and socially. She is a walking example of a life changer!

When Kelli Poole came to our school, she brought a youthful enthusiasm that we needed. She came with an energy that invigorated those she was around. She was vibrant. She was interesting. She was fun. She was thorough. She was happy. She was smiling. She was good. She made a huge difference for her students. I saw it each time I visited her classroom, and heard it when I talked with them. They were enthused, they were intentional in their efforts, and they became successful. They developed a confidence that spread beyond the walls of her classroom. Her students knew in Mrs. Poole, they had an advocate; a support system that meant something to them.
She is the definition of a Life Changer. It was obvious in her efforts for her students at Reeltown High School. She showed them the importance of their school efforts, and that with proper effort came positive results. It was also obvious in her work with fellow teachers, and administrators. Her focus was on making a difference in the lives of her students, and she did. When they needed lifting up, she quickly found ways to do that. If they needed a more stern approach from her, that's what they got. And they all understood her intentions.
She came into our school and made an immediate impact. Already she has been a Life Changer for her students, and has been one for her school. I'm proud to have been associated with her, and as a school administrator to have supported her efforts. Nothing but good came from them, and from her. I am proud to know her, and to have been one of those who benefitted from her presence.
Congratulations Kelli!! You are definitely deserving of this special recognition. I have never seen anyone go to such great lengths to come up with such extraordinary and creative solutions to the problems that our students may face. You have already changed so many young lives during your tenure at Reeltown High School, and I know that your impact will continue for years to come. Way to go!
