"In my seven years of working at this school, Lisa has impacted so many children when not even their own parents believed in them," said Herrin. "She's a diamond you never want to lose! She's the first to get to work and the the last to leave, only because she wants to make sure each individual student is where they need to be academically. Her kindness comes naturally, without her wanting to be acknowledged for her hard work. I wish every teacher experienced a little bit of her drive and selflessness for this job."
