LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Yesenia Molina was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous. 

Mrs. Molina is an outstanding instructional leader for her school and students, and staff are honored to work alongside her as the campus principal. Her work ethic, passion, and intellectual abilities are truly remarkable.

She serves selflessly and is highly involved in all aspects of her campus, serving her students, staff, parents and community. Mrs. Molina is a firm believer in high academic standards for all students and continued education for herself and all of her staff. Her vast knowledge and understanding of curriculum, instruction, college and career readiness, leadership, and motivational speaking is truly inspiring. She whole heartedly believes in her students’ academic potential and is driven to see them learn, discover, and be successful.

"The students in our school seek her help, advice, and guidance," the nominator said. "She supports them and holds them accountable, as she guides and loves them through their high school academic journey."

Mrs. Molina's commitment and dedication to her student body and school community is commendable. She spends countless hours preparing and planning with colleagues finding the best teaching strategies and materials for students.

"Her relentless effort to have quality lessons that engage students to be successful in all content areas, coupled with in-depth content knowledge, yield the very best quality instruction for our students," the nominator said. "Her creative and passionate approach to reach students, regardless of their social, economic, or cultural background is deserving of the most ethical standards as an educator for all students. She serves all students equally and welcomes them all to our school."

Additionally, Mrs. Molina leads the faculty/departments to accept change and embrace the challenges that each student brings to the classroom. Her strong work ethic and dedication is commended and praised by her colleagues and teachers throughout her district. Her excellence in education is truly remarkable.

Mrs. Molina has a caring heart for others, which is indicative of her great personality and character. She has been instrumental in mentoring first year teachers, department chairs, administrators, and support staff.  She celebrates the school's accomplishments, and leads staff in the right direction. She shares a passion for helping students and believes in education for all. 

"Our school is a great place for kids to learn and for staff to teach. It is fueled by Mrs. Molina's energy," the nominator said. "Her actions make positive changes in the lives of students and those around her, and it's truly inspiring to see."
