Nancy Friedman was nominated by her friend, Elizabeth Arias.
"Nancy has been with LBUSD for 25 years in various positions. I have known and worked with Nancy for 11 years at Barton Elementary School," said Arias. "In her current position, her main duties are to help students who are falling behind in reading with a goal of getting them to read at their current grade level. Nancy mainly helps with 1st and 2nd grade. She goes above and beyond her duties, and she stays late to meet with students and parents. If needed, she even does home visits on weekends. Nancy is a walking smile who is always ready to take on the day. I would love for her to know how special she is and thank her for the years of dedication to our students, families, and LBUSD."
